Dental Examination
It is very important to have your mouth assessed fully on a routine basis. Everyone is different and everyone's dental needs also vary. At SmileArt Dental you will have the following done during your dental examination.
- Assessment of the hard and soft tissues in your mouth including an oral cancer screen
- Diagnosis of any decay, gum disease, defective restorations and oral lesions
- X-rays where appropriate and necessary
- Descaling of plaque and calculus (tartar)
- Oral hygiene advice and information about prevention of dental disease
The dentist will discuss with you when would be the best time to return for another assessment.
